Michael Willey joined Paragon Innovations in 1993. He leads product development and design operations for the Paragon team and plays the leading role in creating and developing Paragon’s design standards and company processes.

Background
Willey is a 1978 graduate of Texas A&M University, with a degree in Electrical Engineering. Prior to joining Paragon Willey designed electronics, software, and firmware and lead engineering teams in a wide variety of industries, including oil and gas pipeline and storage systems, high precision industrial robotics, industrial process controls, satellite communication and tracking systems, solar energy systems, orbital robotic devices, telephone switching systems, and telephony test equipment.
Educational Involvement
Willey is also a Lecturer at Texas A&M University in College Station Texas, where he leads the Second Semester Capstone program and teaches Real Time Operating systems in the Electronic Systems Engineering Technology department.
Boy Scouts
Willey is a Wood Badge trained Boy Scout leader, served as Cub Master, Den Leader, Troop Committee Chair, Pack Committee Chair and many other positions. He served 5 years as an instructor for Circle Ten’s University of Scouting and acted as course director and Scout Master for various adult leader training courses.
Religious Activities
Willey is active at his Synagogue, where he leads the 5th grade Judaica teaching team. He served as Committee Chairman for the annual Tashlich services and on the Outreach and Religious School committees.
